What I'm Bumpin' Today! (Hot Shit 004)

I'm not an authority on Zouk, but I know this much: Slaï has delivered several classics throughout his career and one can understand how the adoring/pandering lyrics and good looks would swoon the ladies.
With this new album, the trend doesn't stop. There are instant winners such as "Leçons particulières", "À l'abri", "Une dernière chance" and "Déjà vu"
There are also a few joints I didn't find so interesting but all in all this is a very positive and pleasant album to listen to end to end.

What I'm Bumpin' Today! (Hot Shit 003)

The title track is undoubtedly the biggest hit of 2008 thus far. The album has instant winners like "Street Credibility" (with 2Face), "Photocopy", and "Kinda Life". Part of his appeal is the wise (yet frequent) usage of yoruba proverbs within the lyrics. The beats are simple yet spell-binding. You should give it a try!

What I'm Bumpin' Today! (Hot Shit 002)

Exclusive - The Forever Edition

I'm digging the career growth with this kid. He's slowly but surely moving away from kid music and the process doesn't seem contrived. Also, I just can't get enough of "Forever." Give Chris Brown a chance people. You won't regret it.

Much ado about nothing: Paul Pierce

Paul Pierce: 2008 NBA Finals MVP
Paul Pierce said he's the best player in the NBA to Spanish Press. He said it again to the Boston Herald. So what? While I love The Truth. I think Kobe is simply better. But is it not any (great) player's stance that he's/she's the best at what they do? If not, it definitely should be!!! I predict this tidbit will swell up unecessarily. At least it's more fuel to the renewed Boston-L.A. rivalry.

That’s what I said. I am a confident player and a lot of people might look at it like ’Oh, another cocky attitude,’ but I don’t look at it that way. I have an opinion, I have a right to have one and that’s the way I feel. I felt I’ve played against the best over the years and felt right now that I’m the best player in the world.
